Colorblocking in Winter Whites and Pastels


I don't like fashion rules; I think they're stupid. 
I have no idea why Americans can't wear white after Labor Day or why you should never wear brown with navy.  


Following trends on the other hand, I get. But it's kinda stupid too. 
Like this color block trend - it's kinda stupid. But I stupidly love it on this sweater.  Maybe because it makes an otherwise plain white sweater more fun. Or maybe it's the leather patches, or the pastel palette. 
Who knows? All I know is I love it.

PS- I'll let you in on a little secret of mine (since you read through all that bs-y rambling up there). To make my 5'4" (ok fine more like 5'3") self look just a little bit taller, I almost always roll up the cuffs of my pants. For all you shorties out there, try it! It miraculously makes your legs look longer.
