When I say it's cold, it is cooo-oooooold here in NYC.
The bone chilling kind of cold where any sort of weekend plan outside of parking yourself under five layers of blankets in front of Netflix is utterly dreadful. (You think you can try to trick me out of my cocoon with bloody marys and poached eggs? Think again!)
But some days, some friends are worth the cold.
(Or you know... there's that thing called getting to work.)
And on those days, I try to trick my body into thinking it's almost spring by slipping into my favourite pair of tribal shorts (which last saw the light of day here) and the brightest knit. To make sure I don't look like a walking rainbow, I stick with colors in a similar family and tone it down with a neutral furry vest + puffy jacket + overcoat (I wasn't joking when I told you it's cold).
